'Montoy' threat again hangs over education-funding discussions
The Kansas chapter of the National Education Association - the state's teachers union - responded to House appropriations meetings held Monday and Tuesday to address the state's massive education budget by criticizing legislators for trying to use “the myth of inefficiency” as a way to rationalize any additional cuts to school funding.
