Abortion legislation passes House
Two bills that could strengthen Kansas’ current abortion laws gained formal House approval today.
One, HB 2206, would require physicians to report the medical condition of a woman seeking a late-term abortion to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and would change abortion-related definitions so they match federal definitions.
The measure passed today 82-40.
