Naumann: Once in DC, Sebelius will 'continue her personal involvement in promoting abortion'
KC Archbishop finds Sebelius' HHS nomination 'particularly troubling'
Kansas City Archbishop Joseph Naumann has renewed his effort to distance the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church from Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who has consistently resisted even moderate efforts to reform abortion laws or enforce those now in place, while also telling Kansans that she is a "practicing Catholic."
Recently the arhbishop requested Sebelius refrain from presenting herself for communion in the church, saying he hoped it would motivate the Governor to reconsider her position on abortion, as well as "to protect others from being misled by the Governor’s public support and advocacy for legalized abortion."
