House to vote on lower penalties for meth manufacturers and narcotics dealers

A House bill that would significantly reduce penalties for crimes ranging from methamphetamine production to narcotics sales could be debated on the House floor as early as this week.

On Monday, the Joint Committee on Corrections and Juvenile Justice Oversight, on an unrecorded voice vote, forwarded the bill to the House floor.

Conservative Judiciary Committee leaders reacted swiftly.

High Cost of Leniency

Ask the surviving family members of innocent children gunned down by violent drug gangs if the cost of leniency in our drug courts would be bearable.

anyone who would use / distribute a cocktail of sudafed, bleach, ammonia, + other assorted chemicals needs a 25 year vacation courtesy of the ks. dept. of corrections.
