92 percent tax increase over 11 years motivates GOP to modify system
House reps work to reform property tax structure
Rep. Steve Brunk, R-Bel Aire, unveiled a tax reform bill yesterday which would allow taxpayers to have a voice in how high government can crank up property taxes. House Bill 2630 would prohibit real estate taxes on existing property from being increased without voter approval.
